A history lesson.

When we go on an adventure - on the bus to Oxford city centre - we like to have a look round to see what there is to learn about.

Here is the Carfax Tower which is the only remaining part of the Church of St Martin, built in the 13thC.

This was, and still is, the geographical centre of Oxford and, such is it's importance that, even today, no building can be constructed higher than the 23m tower.

The bells, on the front of the tower, sound every quarter of the hour.
