Goodbye Barge

It's been a chilly day, but by no means of any complaints.  It's been a lovely calm day and full of plenty of sunshine.  A love starry evening tonight and still calm.

I'm off work all weekend and going to enjoy my time off :)  Been out and about with Sammy for the most of the day.  Walkies around Scalloway and plenty of folk to chat with along the way.  Off out tonight.  It's the Return, the second weekend of the Scalloway Fire Festival.  All the acts that were done last weekend and acted again for the squads only, this will include or squad and act :)  Should be a great night ahead :)

While I was out walking, folk were telling me that the last accommodation barge was leaving Scalloway today.  The village has settled down again after all those men left and things are returning back to normal.  The harbour is looking a bit bare without them, but great to get the views back.  This is the Bibby Challenge leaving at lunchtime today and heading for Norway.  The men were a great boost to the local shops and pubs but I'm glad to see them leave :)  Taken from Cauldhame, Trondra and looking over to Scalloway.
