Birds Over The Moon

My 'Phillips Guide To The Night Sky 2016' has come up trumps already. A clear spell this morning allowed a great view of the rising moon in the South East with, what you can't see here but was very visible to the naked eye at the time, Jupiter, Mars and Venus all grouped closely together at sunrise. A few minutes later the light had become too bright and the stars were lost from view.
