Snow and Crow

Well the snow arrived here behind closed blinds last night, just a light covering and not enough for His Lordship to make a snowball or even a drunken snowman. His trademark snowman is not knowingly upright with a scarf and hat; his is usually a snowman lounging on the bench outside clutching a can of lager. We await his coming.

The cold arctic weather was a shock to the the system of #1 Granddaughter who returned yesterday from her Christmas at home in Oman to University in Stirling.
Her first purchase of 2016 was a very warm padded jacket. She looked like Nanook of the North.

The Sunday toast has been enjoyed and it's time now to read the papers and watch the snow disappear off the grass outside.
