Home is where you park your boat

After becoming a local landmark (NB the word land!) to guide people to their house sitting on its trailer for two years, our Drascombe Coaster has been in the water - well at least on high spring tides - for a month now with our house in the background. The weather however has not been kind enough for us to leave the relatively sheltered confines of the bay.
With three weeks away, putting in another stake to tie it down was probably a wise precaution. For two weeks in a month, it doesn't touch the water but knowing my luck, the huge storm will arrive when it is a high spring tide. With five points of attachment now, I am hopeful we won't come back to a pile of matchwood.
Otherwise one of those dull days, trying to think of and pack all the things you need for a one day training course on inspecting schools, two days visiting friends, ten days in France, five days in Cornwall and catching up with children and relatives at various universities and/or jobs. Increasingly though as long as you have a credit card you can get by.....
