Can you guess what it is yet?

Shortly after the poorly lens turned up at work yesterday, Neil picked up a CF card, which fell apart in his hand.
I brought it home to play around with Macro stacking.
Can't work out how to do macro stacking.
Gave up and picked this as the most in focus of a few too many photos of a poorly CF card.
