Sgwarnog: In the Field

Spectrum

More snow had fallen during the night so a day on the moors seemed in order.

Sheep and grouse were my main companions for the day, interrupted only by the occasional flash of a fluorescent runner.

This group were at Reva Gate where I'd hopped onto Hawksworth Moor. I hiked up to the Twelve Apostles and returned via Horncliffe Well.

The mist meant the landscape folded in on itself: snow, moors and sky exploring the white spectrum.
