Cross country

I took part in my first ever Sunday League cross country race today at Cassiobury park in Watford as one of a team of 16 St Albans Striders There was much snow and mud on the ground and the course was very up and down; I fell over once but my landing was a soft one. Needless to say I finished towards the back of the field, but for me it's the taking part that's important. This photo shows Hannah encouraging me on towards the finishing line. Don't be deceived by how flat it looks!
