Lahore, 1917

A rather fine postcard sent by my great grandfather to his daughter in law (my grandmother) in March 1917. The rather enigmatic pencil message on the back says "I am leaving here for somewhere else and rather glad of it". What an officer in the Royal Navy was doing in Lahore remains a mystery.
