The Jackdaw

This handsome fella is one of a number of Jackdaws who are now regular visitors to our back garden.
Nice to see them, but they do tend to keep the smaller birds off the feeders, on the plus side they also keep the pigeons out of the garden, not to mention the groups of magpies. Of course the pecking order dictates that the jackdaws withdraw to the safety of the trees when a solitary crow drops in for a bite to eat.
