Signs (19) - Hidden detail

I was pleased to find an old style sign off the main market square but was even more taken with the little detail above it that has been whitewashed over. The sign is high on the wall of what has long since become Tipsy McStagger's Traditonal Oirish Pub (sic) but obviously in the dim and distant past it was a house that purveyed Charrington's beers (some of which were pretty awful!). The Apple Market of course has nothing whatsoever to do with the lifestyle electronics company which now wants to rip off its devoted followers with a proprietary headphone jack!
