LOOK OUT THERE'S A MONSTER COMING

My one street is closed for three days for resurfacing. They may have informed the people who live along it - though somebody still failed to move their car today, and the contractors took matters into their own hands. They certainly didn't inform us in the square, and we're having to dodge in and out between cones and heavy machinery, or drive across the grass to get in and out. Or just walk, which is what I'll have to do for my hospital appointment tomorrow.
