Brrrrrr!

It seems like a lifetime since I was lying awake in a Glasgow hotel room in the early hours of Monday morning. Since then I have done two TV interviews, four stock signings, an event at the Mitchell Library with 240 people, another event at Newton Mearns with 140, and travelled through the snowy wastes of Scotland for yet another event. This time in Inverness, at the Ironworks rock venue, chaired superbly as always by STV's Nicola McAlley before a large audience - which included fellow blipper "houseonahill6".

Tomorrow it's off to Edinburgh, a formal signing at WH Smith's at the Gyle, a couple of stock signings, and a sellout evening event at the Central Library.

This brave fellow was out entertaining folk in the streets of Inverness in sub-zero temperatures. He earned my few coins just for sheer stamina!

Oh, and "Coffin Road" went straight into the bestsellers chart at No. 6 after the first three days of sales!
