Delicate

It's been one of those in-and-out sort of days, thanks to the need to take the aged Galaxy in for its service and MOT on top of all the other usual commitments. It's now twenty years old, but today I was told that it was in remarkable condition for its age (despite the inside being somewhat scruffy). We keep thinking about getting rid of it, but it's great when a group of people want to travel together, or when we need to carry large loads. So it's got another year of respite, and now that Chris can drive I suspect he and Lizzy might be borrowing it for short holidays. With the seats taken out, there's enough room to sleep inside it!

Between all my trips I managed to do a little writing and fit in a shortish walk. We had some glorious sunshine this afternoon, which made a softly glowing background for these nipplewort seed-heads, found on the ride edge in Thorpe Wood.
