Appreciate a Squirrel Today!

As it is Squirrel Appreciation Day....
This is the mutated result of an Eastern Grey Squirrel....a beautiful coal black fur.  Generations of urban living has caused this colour mutation which I find incredible.  I still prefer to see them in the woods, as this one is.
We are still getting little snow flurries daily with little accumulation with very cold temps.  Just enough to add some pizazz to his whiskers!
