Christmas tree with a difference

Okay, not exactly a fir tree, but this tree was planted in the middle of the village in 1953 to celebrate the coronation. It`s now a very large tree and every year it gets bedecked with lights and will be illuminated from next friday right through till 12th night it looks fantastic and I might blip it later next month.
It`s the focal point for a carol service and New Year celebrations after which everyone involved heads to the Constitutional Club opposite for a hot toddy.
