We beat the rain today and fitted in a nice dry run first thing. Definitely sets you up for the day.

I carried on my theme of filling my days with jobs not on my list but comfort myself with knowing they all needed doing anyway!

I put up new curtains and replaced the rug in our living room today. When pushed as to what looked different L did notice the rug but guessed I'd painted, a new settee or new windows before noticing the curtains; it's a good job he's planning to do Maths and not interior design isn't it!

The final of his 5 Uni applications came back today. Another unconditional offer, from Dundee this time!
