Bottom of the Garden

As there were no bullocks in the fields behind the house tday, I decided to walk there for a change.

It was horrible. The track leading to the fields and across the old railway line was very muddy. Then the fields were damaged by cattle hooves and churned up tractor treads that created deep, sticky mud. There were cow pats everywhere and plenty fox poo for Millie to roll in.

Thoroughly unpleasant. We even stumbled across a skeleton (of goodness knows what ) but its bones were strewn wide. Yuck!

I accessed the bottom of our garden for the first time in months.

This evening we met Phil and Mandy for dinner.
