Apple Crate

All around the Wenatchee Valley, one will see large boxes -- Apple Crates -- sitting in orchards, stacked, on the backs of semi trucks. These are the containers that pack and ship apples and sit in cold storage. Some are stamped with company names, some are old and increasingly, some are made from plastic.
