Just a Little Hot

So lately we have been experiencing some rather hot weather with temperatures in the high 90's and 100's. The long streaks we have been having are breaking records that were set in the 1930's. I wonder how long it will be before the records being set now will be broken. I hope it will be a long time from now. I'm also hoping for some relief soon. We could use a little bit of rain...if only we could get it without the violent storms that tend to do damage, but I fear with these high temps, the violent storms are just part of the balance.
