The bigger issue...

...was why?
View of a roof at Vauxhall bus station, these buildings house the well known magazine "The Big Issue", next door on the roof was this statue of an elephant and castle; why, when the famous Elephant and Castle was 2 miles away? This one was confusing me (I know, not hard) but after a bit of internet research, the answer was surprisingly easy. Apparently the building used to be a pub named the Elephant and Castle, quite a salubrious one apparently. But now it is a franchise for a well known coffee shop chain...
...meanwhile, still something unusual to look at when waiting for a train  :-)
