Cakes for dinner

Our day to pick up the girls from school…..Tatum wanted to make a cake and Fiona, as always, wanted pancakes for dinner.  So of course that’s what we had … they can almost do it all on their own ...they were both flipping pancakes of all sizes very expertly....if not too neatly. The cake is Wacky chocolate cake, from scratch.  Tatum is a “maker” (their word for “baker”…..don’t ask. :-)     Um..not such a well balanced meal —there were a few strawberries, milk, and a little whipped cream.. but grandparents don't worry about that.:-)


I had more trouble putting 2 simple pictures together than combining 3 yesterday.. it was easy in PSE but now it doesn't work the same in PS…. time to get under the covers with my book …(Life after Life by Kate Atkinson)

Added Tatum's new shoes as extra... they needed to be in color!
