Flexible Friend....

A weekend up in Preston to visit relatives means a few hours at Martin Mere courtesy of Preston North End!

While my other half is at the match, I spent the afternoon with the birdies, and felllow blipper tonym. It was quite a dark afternoon, so it was a little challenging with respect to the light. This is a Whooper Swan. They are fed each day and it's quite amazing how flexible their necks are.

Had a lovely Italian meal at Gusto Italia in Bamber Bridge with my other half's sister and hubbie this evening. It's owned and run by a Sicilian, so the real deal.
