Spike

Another pretty miserable day. So spent the morning reading the papers. And some of the afternoon watching Wimbledon although I'm not really a sports fan. Would have liked Murray to win but I'm sure his day will come and I found his post-match comments quite moving. Out in the garden took a few insect and flower shots but can only offer you this which isn't in any way pretty but caught my eye just the same. Some sort of flower spike which has caught the water as it decays. Or perhaps it's meant to be like that.
