After the blizzard

The blizzard with a lot of snow in NYC. Almost beat the historical record set in 2006 for snow accumulation in Central Park.  26.8 inches (68 cm) is very impressive.  Glad all this happened during the weekend and not on a weekday.
A beautiful day.  Thought it would be  a good idea to have a walk and enjoy some of that new snow out there in Central Park.  Many other people were thinking about the same thing.  People, especially the kids, were enjoying the snow the most sledding down a slope near the Metropolitan Museum.
I was enjoying the snow as well by taking a nape on top (or half inside) the snow.  Very good powder snow.  It would definitely be appreciated if this was a ski resort.

By the way this snowman near the Metropolitan Museum was very big.  I wonder who made in and when they were able to make this.  We are here in the morning so they must have made a late last night while it was still snowing.  Impressive!
