Open wide

Experimenting with aperture and depth of field. Still not convinced it's any better than my clever little camera can do on auto. I will persevere.
This is one of the huge number of buds on my front garden magnolia.
At home today, having cancelled one thing at work, so I can mollycoddle my cold. Tomorrow it's back to normal.
And in other news it's 41 years today since I met Mr EAnn.
