A hy scent

I got three different flower/plant presents yesterday

Among the lovely gifts, the cut hyacinths are the most fragrant. Every time I walk into the sitting room I'm hit by a waft of beautiful scent

I've had lovely texts from all my cousins

I didn't tidy up last night - saying I would do it this morning. But - the best laid plans - I had a friend pop in unexpectedly for coffee before I started the tidy up.

I was embarrassed until another friend pointed out that it was better to have a messy kitchen than empty chairs.

I'll go fit the messy kitchen every time
