Burns Night

Fiery skies over Glasgow tonight on the drive home from work. Tenuous link but tonight is Burns Night in Scotland, celebrating the life and times of our best known national poet, Robert Burns. The traditional supper is haggis, neeps and tatties. (Haggis, turnip and mashed potato).
Like the true Scot I am, I dined on spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread.

I was going to post a picture of a brooch I own called "wee beastie" by Nick Hubbard in homage to Burns' "Ode to a Mouse" but I can't find it, which is a bit annoying. Oh well, I hope it turns up soon.
