Early light

It was such a beautiful morning. Dawn can be cold and silvery, gloomy and mysterious, but today it was vibrant, fiery and golden. It cast a warm glow onto the lane into our local nature reserve, and spread streaks of pink across a bright clear sky. It made me feel very grateful to be up early for the start of a new day.
