My deputy editor.

Purdy is fascinated with the computer.  She often pushes her way onto my lap and presses keys on the keyboard while watching the cursor move on the screen.  At this particular moment she was totally distracted as she had spotted our robin just outside the window.

It is windy today and has started to rain.  The weathermen tell us that it is the same storm that dropped all the snow on the eastern side of America but that here it will cause heavy rain but no snow.  I do hope it won't result in yet more flooding for some people.
