Warming sunshine

The sun showed up today after a couple of days hiding .... giving us the coldest days we've had in 59 years! Although temps are still low, there was some healing warmth in the sun. Jon, Kiki and I sat in our family room, and warmed ourselves nicely.

Had to venture out (sadly) for a quick shop. Passed the beach on the way to the Plaza and had to get a pic of the beach and the long shadows of the trees.

It's definitely quiet in the house without Niwah. I must say its the first time this year that I didn't have an agenda for the day. Nice:)
