Shelduck

We has the opportunity to visit the SWT reserve at Montrose basin to day and although there was lots to see, it rained horribly all morning so the visibility was very poor and decent shots were beyond me.
It cleared up in the afternoon and a visit to the Wigeon Hide on the NW corner of the basin allowed me to get this shot of some of the distant Shelduck roosting at high tide.
Their bright colours look very elegant.
