Monarch butterfly

Not the best image of a Monarch butterfly I’ve ever taken, but it is the first one we have seen this year.  Paladian’s crop of milkweed failed entirely so we have nothing other than a few butterfly bushes to tempt this magnificent butterfly.  And even the Buddleias are struggling due to neglect whilst we were away overseas.
