When the going gets weird

The Bear Pit

Sunday lunchtime we headed to Mauerpark to check out the adjacent flea market. There was some nice stuff on display, but the flea market was nothing compared to Bear Pit Karaoke over in the park. Basically, a guy from Dublin started setting up a free open air karaoke on sundays in the amphitheatre there. It's grown into a bit of a phenomena, as you can see from this pic there's quite a crowd there. The audience are provided with refreshments by the various guys carrying crates of cold beers around. The emphasis here is more on a good time than vocal talent and myself, M.Riot, Cider, Mo and Attack had a hoot. Minnie of course was straight down to sign up, shortly followed my Mo. Brave girls. You can view their performances in the links at the bottom.

With pastey Scottish skin rapidly going very red, we headed for White Trash Burger to sample their wears (which where AWESOME burgers and tastey cocktails). Although we got a row when the German waitress failed to appreciate the dry Scottish humor.....

M.Riot rocks Son of a Preacher Man.
Mo B-Quick owns the shoop shoop song.
