Cream tea for Andy Murray's Wimbledon Final 2012

We had this cream tea during the first set of the Wimbledon Men's Final today between Roger Federer and Dunblane's own Andy Murray. This is a household tradition for us on Men's Final day, with home-made scones, Scottish strawberries, clotted cream, Scottish raspberry jam and posh tea from Eteaket in Edinburgh. It would have been nice to add a Scottish winner to that list but Murray making the Final was a great achievement in its own right. After the second set went to Federer, we jumped in the car and drove the 6 miles or so to Dunblane, watching the rest of the match and the presentation on a big screen in The Village Inn in Dunblane. There were media film crews and press photographers all over the village like a rash. This photo is a reminder of that first successful set for Andy Murray, when dreams of victory seemed quite realistic!
