Hong Kong Star Ferry

No trip to Hong Kong would be complete for me without having a trip on the Star Ferry across to Kowloon. Unfortunately my past memories of beautiful blue skies, the iconic skyline of high rise architecture and the amazing buzz of all manner of boats on this busy waterway were not repeated this time. It was damp and gloomy, bitterly cold and the tops of the buildings disappeared in the clouds - never mind we enjoyed a trip across and wandered into the malls where wealthy visitors, no doubt some from cruise ships were indulging in retail therapy in some of the most exclusive shops with eye watering price tags!
