Abstract Thursday

We took advantage of the beautiful weather today and drove out to Stowe. There was a cold wind blowing but apart from that the weather was perfect. Wall to wall blue sky all afternoon.

Our creative photography group was given the task of "taking a lens for a walk", to choose a lens or a focal length and use it for a photo session. I set myself the challenge of shooting at just 200mm (actually 100mm but on my micro four thirds 200mm equivalent). I took about 150 shots in an attempt to find what kind of images this focal length is best for. What it's not very good for is landscapes and what I saw a lot of this afternoon was landscapes. C'est la vie.
