A concrete love affair

The bridges of Dundee

Some less well known, and indeed more famous bridges are featured in todays blip and extra photo's below. It wasn't deliberate but I noticed upon editing the common theme...

Main image is a dismantled railway known as the Lochee Deviation. In fact it might be likely a spur off said deviation toward the former jute works at Camerperdown. Once the largest jute works in the world.

From one industrial bridge to the scenic Balgay Bridge in the city's Balgay Park. Recently renovated it originally opened in 1871.

The famous Tay Bridge from The Law. The city's highest point.

And the works below the newly installed off ramp on the Dundee side of the Tay Road Bridge.

Overall another very interesting day of Dundee related discoveries...
