Springtime?

"When all at once I saw a crowd, a host of golden daffodils."
I'm sure that when the Lakeland Bard penned the above, it was certainly not in January. Our garden is full of them, with more imminent. I don't recall seeing them in such numbers at this time of year. Such are the vicissitudes of our modern day weather.
