Where Next?

There's no place like home

There is no feeling as good as coming home. I get more and more excited as we drive nearer Aldwalk Bridge, now here's a fact for you... It's one of the last remaining privately owned toll bridges in the country and travelling over it will cost you the princely sum of 40p. When I was little it was only 8p to cross, that's some inflation!

Once over the bridge it's just a few miles of country lanes, round past the RAF runway viewing area and into the village.

Tonight we caught up with the tennis (better luck next time Murray), the grand prix and of course the cycling (go Bradley go!). I enjoyed some late evening sunshine hacking at plants which would have preferred to be left alone in Mum's garden.
