Just dropping by

This unusual visitor claimed our neighbour's rooftop this afternoon! He stayed long enough for me to get my blip through our window! We no longer have an ornamental pond in our garden, so the heron was no threat to us. We could just admire his elegant stance.
The neighbours are away so I shall have to print off a photo for them to prove just who had dropped by.
