A bit of froth

There's a very silly new production at The Royal Opera House. Chabrier's "L'Etoile" is fun and nonsense, brilliantly conducted by Sir Mark Elder.

Daft story, even dafter costumes. And comedian Chris Addison has a non-singing part along with a French counterpart.

It's not grand opera - but frothy and entertaining.

Part of the curtain call from our great rehearsal seats.
