Gertrude is the name of the storm that interfered with my plans for the day; and the name of the patron saint of cats; and my daughter's confirmation name. Facts two and three are not unconnected.  This kind of weather is a challenge for a daily photograph, particularly as I am completely hopeless at any kind of indoor shot. So I have nothing to offer but some moss, which is soaking wet, like everything else.
