Air ambulance

The air ambulance came in just before dark this evening.  They don't generally fly late - it's not easy landing in unlit fields in the dark.

In fact, I'm surprised they were flying at all, it's been very windy - as evidenced by the confetti spread around our front yard (see extras) - the result of our neighbour's recycling bin being blown over - they had loaded it with shredded paper, ready for the bin men today.
