Lock Haven Skyline From Riverview Park

Another one from the archives that I have "remodeled" a bit, giving it the look of an oil painting.
This photo of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania was taken in early January of 2013, on what turned out to be a really great day for a number of reasons. I shot quite of few pics at Riverview Park that day...this one looking across the Susquehanna River at the sun setting just beyond the city, with the county courthouse visible to the left.
After I left the park that day, I drove a bit further on down the road to the Farrandsville area and took several more photos. It was truly one of those spectacular days when everything I encounter seems beautiful and magical to me.
If you are so inclined, you can view another one of that day's entrancing scenes that I have already shared (or should I say "Blipped?") here: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2135993812181322697

“Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time?" That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past nor the shadow of the future.”
