Gertrude's Gentle Photometeor.

As the clouds of Storm Gertrude get blown away toward the horizon, they reveal some beautiful and eerie wave clouds, whose edges hold gentle fringes of colour - caused by light diffracted through a thin layer of supercooled ice crystals, although it's quite unusual to be see such iridescence so far from the Sun.
