Upwards and onwards...

A different Saturday today, spent in Laurencekirk with other supporters of the Scottish Lib Dems in the North East, planning the campaign for the Holyrood elections in May and the Council election in May 2017. We might not been the most popular party in Scotland, but there's plenty enthusiasm around, and lots of support for the first manifesto commitment, announced earlier this week, of a penny on income tax towards education! I've never been in this hall before and was pretty impressed with it as a conference venue. It must have been a beautiful church in earlier times, but at least it's still in use as a community asset.
