Malaysian beef smore

Bit late in uploading this one!

For Christmas I was given a subscription to a spice company who send you a set of spices with a recipe card each month. The first set was for this beef smore with cabbage, lemon rice and a coconut chilli condiment! It also had spices for a cake with rose and cashews!

Unfortunately I burnt the sauce for the beef and I thought it was slightly bitter. However my guests ate every scrap and all enjoyed it!

It will be hard to recreate this recipe as I'm unsure exactly what spices and quantities of each were used in the recipe! However my second box arrived today so just watch this space for something new!
