Last night it took me nearly three hours to make the ten mile journey from Hamilton to Strathaven. But, even although it causes inconvenience, there is something about the snow that is magical - it makes total strangers chat to each other, it turns grown men into children, it makes families forget what they planned to do and just have fun...
