Watching ...

... the children.

After visiting daughter C and M-I-L at North Shore Hospital (in different wards!) I persuaded the children to accompany me on a bird spotting trek to the water's edge.

The birds were smarter than me. They knew it was about to rain and largely were absent. We carried on around to Fidelis (our) beach, where the children were active in the water, and Tsuken was active with his camera.

Having taken a few photos and got my blip I put the camera away and joined the children in the water.

In extras I have put a photo of a Torea pango (oystercatcher, black morph), and a photo of waves hitting rocks which quite appealed.
